time; tell them your software will shave 2 hours off every working
day.

Make it Unique

You need to headline to stand apart from all the other ads that the
potential customer is being bombarded with wherever he or she may
go. So you either need to find a unique sales point or you need to
find a unique way to present that selling point.

Make it Useful

No one is going to read your copy if they don’t think there’s
anything in it for them. So make sure you tell the reader why they
should keep reading or why they should buy your product. This means
you need to put a great hook in your headline and/or you need to
include a great benefit. Often copy writers take the best benefit
of a product and work that into a headline.

4 main goals to focus on when writing sales copy headlines are to
include urgency, to be very specific, to make it unique, and to
make it useful. If you remember to keep these 4 things in mind then
you will have a strong headline that will hook potential customers
and get them to at least keep reading your copy.

Make it Worth Their While

The main ingredient to a successful blog is making it worth the
readers while. In other words, you need to give the reader value.
Teach them something or entertain them. Better yet, do both. Teach
them while entertaining them. That will really draw people to your
blog and keep them coming back for more.

Include Anchor Text

Anchor text is text that you link to another site. In this case,
you want to link keywords back to you site. This will help your
site rank better for those keywords and it will also lead more
people from your blog to your site. Make sure you target a couple
keyword phrases in every blog and then link the keyword phrases
back to your site.

Drive Traffic with Social Networking

Another great tip for a successful blog is to use social networking
sites to drive traffic to your blog. Join at least 3 or 4 social
networking sites and then meet as many people as you can. Also,
join groups related to your niche if you can. Simply become friends
with people -become someone they know, trust, and like -and then
let them know about your blog.

Under no circumstances you should try to directly sell to people on
social networking sites!

Include Pictures and Videos

People love to look at pictures and they love to watch videos. In
fact, if you can make a video blog, also known as a vlog, then

Bookmark It

As with anything you create on the Internet, you have to always
make sure that you bookmark it on at least 3 or 4 of the major
bookmarking sites (or more). You can even use a service that will
bookmark your blog on several sites. The main ones you want to make
sure you use are Digg, StumbleUpon, Reddit, and Del.icio.us.

A blog is a great way to increase traffic to your site and to make
more money. However, you have to know how to write a blog in order
to be successful with it. 5 great tips for a successful blog are to
make it worth the readers while, include anchor text, drive
traffic with social networking, include pictures and videos, and
